Changelog

What's new in Flexor.

Every change, newest first. The big ones, the small ones, and the ones that only show up as your Mac running a little cooler.

1.0.28 Latest

A new home.

Your friends' points at a glance, and Flexor moves in at getflexor.app.

Friends

  • New

Points and Plus in the list. Each friend's points sit at the end of their row, lined up in one column, and a crown says who has Plus. A friend who keeps their points to themselves shows none.

  • Fixed

A duel waiting for you sits under your friend's name, so the line beside it is never cut off, and picking a friend no longer moves anything in the list.

Under the hood

  • Better

getflexor.app. The website lives there now, and Flexor talks to its server there too. On a network that can't reach the new address, it uses the old one.

1.0.27

Ready or not.

Your mascot plays hide and seek and talks in more languages, and your profile can come with you to another Mac.

Your mascot

  • New

Hide and seek. Once a day, from its right-click menu, it hides somewhere in Flexor with only a sliver showing: round the window's edge, between the cards, or deeper in, on another range, in Settings, on the wheel or the darts. The sooner you find it, the more points, up to 50. There's a hint halfway, and if time runs out it shows you where it was.

  • New

German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Your mascot talks in these too, with lines written for each, and each country's own days and humour. It follows Flexor's language, or pick another in Settings › Language.

  • New

More to say. Hundreds of new lines about its little life through the day, late nights, coding, water and stretching. Cross with you because you're tired? Tap it and it offers a deal: a short walk, and all's forgiven.

  • Fixed

Its right-click menu opens every time, with a control-click too, and it never shows an empty bubble or notification.

Your Flexor

  • New

Move your profile. Settings › You › Move your profile saves your name, code, friends, points and finds as a file, once Touch ID or your password says it's you. Import it on another Mac, or after reinstalling, and it's all there. Key counts stay on each Mac.

Stats

  • New

Your best days. Hover today's count for your five best days and your fastest moments, each with its date. Part of Plus, like your history.

  • Better

Keys shows your five most and five least used side by side, and five shortcuts with what each one does.

  • Fixed

Nothing shifts when you pick a tab, a range or a chip: the others stay put and the charts keep their size.

Friends

  • Better

Sending is one pick. Choose the line, and the move, how it comes in and where stay as you last set them, a tab away.

Market

  • Better

Every way in plays its preview, the ones you own as well as the ones to buy, and the tiles all line up.

Little things

  • Fixed

A new language shows everywhere the moment you pick it, with no click needed.

1.0.26

Your move.

A duel waiting for you is hard to miss now, and sending is steadier.

Friends

  • Better

A duel waiting for you stands out. A red badge by your friend's name and on their darts tab says when they've challenged you or it's your throw, and the friends tab counts it.

  • Fixed

Picking a message no longer nudges everything below it down.

Plus

  • New

Hellos and darts duels are Plus. Sending your mascot to a friend's screen and playing darts with them come with Plus, as gifts already did. What friends send you always comes through, saying no to a duel is free, and darts on your own stay free.

1.0.25

In your language.

Sixteen languages, a friend's page that says what it knows, and a safer social side.

Languages

  • New

Sixteen languages. Flexor now speaks English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Indonesian, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, Japanese, Korean and Chinese, simplified and traditional. It follows your Mac until you pick one in Settings.

Friends

  • Better

No more guessing. A friend's page says how long they've been away and when a hello would reach them, instead of guessing what they're up to.

  • Fixed

Hi back sits beside the replay button, so the card it's on keeps its size and the page fits the window.

Privacy and fair play

  • Better

Hidden stays hidden. If a friend doesn't show when they're at their Mac, a hello's delivered and seen marks arrive an hour later, so they can't give it away.

  • Better

Duels finish. Leaving your last darts unthrown no longer dodges a loss: when time's up, they count as misses and the winner gets the prize.

  • Better

Tighter limits on friend requests to one person, and on names that pass for Flexor or spill over the screen.

1.0.24

Try it on.

A look at everything before it's yours, and darts that rise to meet a good hand.

Market

  • New

See it before you buy it. Tap anything that isn't yours yet and your mascot shows it off in full color: wearing it, doing it, saying it. A new mascot says its name in its own voice, and a way in can be watched coming in on your own screen. Bought, your mascot jumps for it, and it's a tap to put it on.

Darts

  • New

The board heats up. Good throws heat it, a level a bullseye, and a hotter board is a harder one: stronger wind, farther off and smaller. Misses and breaks cool it. A flame under the wind shows how hot it is, and your dart glows with it.

  • Better

Every throw pays its ring, as in a duel: no odd amounts. Darts win up to 2,000 a day; once that's won, the board says so and waits till tomorrow, your darts kept.

Your Flexor

  • Fixed

Esc closes a card or a picker without closing Your Flexor behind it.

1.0.23

Nothing hidden.

A market for everything there is, a hello's arrival of its own, and darts with a friend, all told.

Market

  • New

The market. Your Flexor's collection now holds everything there is, on five shelves: moves, things to wear, mascots, notes and ways in. What's yours is in full color; the rest is dimmed with its price, a tap away from buying it. A note from 100 points, a mascot from 1,000.

  • Better

Nothing's a secret any more. What isn't yours yet shows, faint and priced, wherever things are picked: the stage's slots, a hello's moves, lines and ways in.

  • Better

The points button is a coin and your points, nothing else.

Friends

  • New

A hello's arrival, a step of its own. Move, message, arrival, where: the light, a puff of smoke, a door or a portal.

  • New

Darts, all told. On the darts tab: who's won how many between you, who's on a run, and the duels before the last.

Settings

  • Fixed

Picking a theme no longer sends Settings back to the top.

1.0.22

Your own clock.

A mascot that knows when you've slept, darts against the clock, and a friend's time away.

Sleep

  • Better

"Past your bedtime" only when it is. Up from a night's sleep, it's your morning, whatever the clock says: no more bedtime talk at noon for a night owl who got up early.

  • New

A good morning that knows the night. How long you slept, and whether you were up or in bed earlier or later than usual. Two in the afternoon is morning, if that's when yours is.

  • New

A new rhythm, noticed. Two nights running at a different bedtime, and your hours follow, with a word from the mascot.

  • New

Your fingers say when you're flagging. The last twenty minutes' typing speed and backspaces against your usual: still waking up, slowing down late at night, a slump in the afternoon. Only counts, and none of it leaves your Mac.

Friends

  • New

Darts against the clock. Ten seconds a dart in a duel, from the moment its board is up, or it's a miss. The clock counts down beside your darts.

  • Better

How long a friend's been away, right in the list: away for 12 min, for 2 h 30 min.

Menu bar

  • Fixed

A click on the menu bar opens the dashboard in front, even while Flexor isn't in the Dock.

1.0.21

Plain as a coin.

Points you can tell are points, and a friend's where you'd look for them.

Points

  • Better

A clearer coin. Points wear a coin you can tell is one at any size: its edge, a rim, and the mascot's smile struck on the gold.

  • Better

A friend's points by their mascot, top left on their page, rather than in a card of their own.

Friends

  • Fixed

Darts with a friend who'd just updated no longer says their Flexor is too old.

1.0.20

Come on in.

Darts with a friend, new ways to drop by, points by the hour, and a mascot that gets about.

Friends

  • New

Darts, the two of you. A third tab on a friend: challenge them, and once they say yes you each throw five darts in your own time at the same five boards. Their score for a board shows once you've thrown at it too. The winner gets 30 points, for one duel a day.

  • New

Ways in. A hello can come through a little door, in a puff of smoke or out of a portal, found on the wheel. Pick one in the last step of a hello.

  • New

A quick hi. Hover a friend and your mascot leans in round the edge of their screen and says hi.

  • New

Hi back, free. A hello straight back to one that reached you in the last two days costs nothing, once.

  • New

Watch it again. Any visit in the list plays again on your screen.

  • New

A week of Plus, as a gift. From a friend's menu, for points. It starts when theirs ends.

  • New

More on a friend. Their points, a Plus badge, which Flexor they're on, their own time on the dot, and roughly how many words their keys came to.

  • New

Notes for someone dear. Loving ones, and playfully sulky ones, to send with a hello or a gift.

  • Better

Last active, plainly. The friends list says when each was last at their Mac, the same way for everyone. The jokes about it are on their page.

  • Better

Shushed means shushed. Visitors wait at the door while Flexor's quiet, and come in once it isn't.

  • Better

Half-picked stays picked. Choose a friend by mistake while you're putting a hello together, and what you've picked goes with you to the right one.

Points

  • New

By the hour. Points come in as the day goes, not only the next morning, with a flame by them when they're coming in fast.

  • New

The coin. Points wear a coin with the mascot on it everywhere, and there are gold and silver coin necklaces on the wheel.

  • Better

Where points come from is on the points button, on hover. The mascot says when there's enough for a spin.

The mascot

  • New

It gets about. Now and then it wanders round the dashboard. Right-click it for hide and seek.

  • New

It notices. A new version, a screenshot taken just as it spoke, and which day of the week it is: no meetings on a Sunday.

  • Better

Moves arrive whole. A visitor comes in doing its move, in a soft light, and nothing of it is cut off.

Menu bar

  • New

Two clicks. A click on the count opens Flexor; a right-click opens the little panel.

  • Fixed

+1K, every time, with or without the window open.

Sound

  • New

Four new keyboards, a deep thock among them, each played as you pick it. Clicks can make a sound too.

  • New

Just one thing quiet. The speaker's menu silences only the typing sounds, or only the notifications.

  • Better

Typing sounds that tell nothing. Each letter's sound is picked afresh on every press, so a recording can't be read back as what was typed.

Looks and settings

  • New

Four new themes: paper, cream, peach and lilac.

  • New

Your favourite app of the day, and the top five on hover.

  • Better

A Plus screen worth opening, and Settings stay where you were when you pick a theme.

Under the hood

  • Better

Updates must be signed and are checked before they're opened.

  • Better

Names can't be faked with lookalike letters from other alphabets.

  • Better

Nothing new is shared unasked: a new thing friends could see stays off for anyone who'd turned something off.

1.0.19

Shorter still.

A narrower count for the menu bar, for those short on room.

Menu bar

  • New

32k. A new menu bar count in Settings: the compact one without its decimal, the letter right against it. It turns over with each thousand. The compact count with its decimal stays the default.

1.0.18

Pressed along.

The little mark in your menu bar types with you now.

Menu bar

  • New

The mark presses as you type. With every key the finger on Flexor's menu bar mark presses its key, the key gives a little and the lines around it flash; let go and it springs back up for a moment before it settles. Light: it runs only while you type. Off in Settings if you'd rather it kept still, and still anyway with Reduce Motion on.

1.0.17

Every key, heard.

Your keys make a sound now, the speaker button silences everything, and new versions turn up sooner.

Sound

  • New

Typing sounds. A soft mechanical key's sound as you type, anywhere, each letter its own. Soft, medium or loud in Settings, or off. Quiet on a call, and light: it only runs while you type.

  • Better

The speaker button silences everything. Your mascot, notifications, typing sounds and every other sound, for as long as you pick, and it says so.

Updates

  • Better

Sooner. Flexor looks for a new version every three hours instead of once a day; one that's out waits over the gear till it's in.

1.0.16

The cast, sorted.

Rarities that make sense, your mascot's bottom where you can see it, and a website that goes dark at night.

The wheel

  • Better

Rarities that make sense. The green characters, a thumb by another name, are common and rare now; the ones made of something else altogether are epic and legendary, with Crumb, Goldie, Marble and Pixel the legendary four. The eye patch, pacing and falling over came down a level too. Whatever you've found stays yours.

Your mascot

  • Fixed

Bottom first, in its corner. Doing it on its own in the dashboard, its bottom now pokes in well inside the corner, where you can see it wiggle.

The website

  • New

A dark theme. Dark from 7 pm to 7 am by your own clock, or whenever your Mac's in dark mode. The button by the download picks it yourself.

1.0.15

A bullseye throws again.

Hit the middle of the board and your next throw is on the house.

Darts

  • New

Free throws. A bullseye wins a free throw on top of its 150: no points and no dart to it, up to three a day. The dart in your hand turns gold for it, and a gold one waits in the corner with the rest.

  • Better

Just the darts. The corner shows the darts in hand and a bar filling toward the next, without the words under them.

1.0.14

Visits with an entrance.

Three new moves make a whole visit of their own on a friend's screen, from where you pick. And you can watch any visit on your own screen before you send it.

Friends

  • New

Fall from the top. A legendary move: your mascot drops from the very top of their screen down to the corner you picked, lands flat with a splat, lies there dazed a moment and gets up to say its piece.

  • New

Bottom first. A legendary move: bent over at the edge of their screen, only its bottom pokes in, wiggling. Then it tumbles in, flat on its back, has a laugh and gets up.

  • New

Head round the edge. An epic move: just its head leans in from the side, hangs down from the top or peeks up from the bottom, says its piece and ducks out again.

  • New

Preview. Before you send it, watch the visit on your own screen, coming in from where it will on theirs.

  • Better

The ways in are moves now. Every other visit hops in. Drop in, pop up, skid in, roll in and cannonball are moves of their own: send them like any other, and your mascot does them in its corner too.

1.0.13

Ten darts, one back every hour.

No more waiting for midnight: a dart comes back every hour, up to ten in hand, and the board shows how long until the next.

Darts

  • New

A dart an hour. Instead of three a day, a dart comes back every hour, and you can hold up to ten. Ten small darts in the board's corner show how many are left, with a bar and the minutes until the next ("4/10 · next in 20m").

  • Better

Out of the way. What a throw costs and what each ring pays now sit behind the info button beside the wind, rather than under the board.

  • Better

Short of points, the dart stays put. It fades and can't be picked up until you have enough to throw; the line under the board says how many more you need.

Your mascot

  • Better

Its words come from Flexor's server. Its lines about your apps, its tips and each character's own lines now arrive a few times a day and are kept, sealed, on your Mac, so it says just as much offline. With per-app stats on, all that's asked with them is a number from 0 to 255 for each app you've used lately, one several apps share; never the apps themselves.

  • New

It notices when you're offline. Without the internet, now and then it has a word about that.

1.0.12

The dot and the mascot agree.

When your mascot nods off, friends see you away, and when you're back, both come back together.

Friends

  • Fixed

Away when your mascot naps. A minute without touching your Mac, your mascot falls asleep on friends' screens and the dot beside you turns amber, "away", at the same moment. Before, the dot stayed green for five minutes while the mascot already slept. Back at the keys, both turn back straight away.

  • Better

Right from the start. Opening Flexor, or reconnecting, says whether you're about and how your mascot looks at once, not half a minute later.

1.0.11

Friends who keep up.

Whether a friend is at their Mac is right more of the time, and their page opens where you'd look first.

Friends

  • Better

Gone means gone. Put your Mac to sleep and friends see you away from it straight away. If it crashes or drops off the internet, they see it within a few minutes instead of up to two hours.

  • Better

Back without missing anything. If the connection quietly dies (new Wi-Fi, a restarted router), Flexor notices within a minute and reconnects, and catches up on friends' presence and looks it missed meanwhile.

  • Better

Stats first. Clicking a friend opens their stats, with send right beside it.

1.0.10

A mascot that notices.

Sounds for every bubble and button, your typing speed, friends that look the way they are, and a mascot that feels the lid, sees the camera come on and knows how the battery's doing. None of it leaves your Mac.

Sound

  • New

Every bubble sings. A speech bubble pops up with a little tune in its mascot's own voice: Gramps low and wavery, Tiny the highest, Robo and Pixel beeping, Boo a breathy oo, Goldie all bell. Tap a mascot in your collection to hear it.

  • New

Every button clicks. Each kind its own: a soft pop for cards and friends, a fuller one for send and spin, a tick for tabs, two notes up for pick, a pop falling away for close, two ticks for a switch.

Typing

  • New

Typing speed. Words a minute while you're actually typing, in the activity tab with your fastest stretch. Click it for today against your usual, how much was right first time, the day hour by hour and the last two weeks. The mascot says so when you beat your record.

  • New

No help from apps. Keys another app makes up (an auto-typer, a macro) aren't counted, and stretches faster or steadier than hands type earn no points.

Friends

  • New

Friends as they are. Their mascot looks as tired as they are, or asleep while their Mac's away, in your list and when it drops by.

  • New

A favorite move, under your lamp. Pick a favorite with the heart on a move in your collection. Friends see it played under your lamp when they look at you.

  • New

Typing speed for friends. Today's and their record, against yours, if they show it.

  • Better

Where they are. A friend's page says whether they're at their Mac, stepped away, or when they were last seen.

The mascot notices more

  • New

The lid. On a MacBook with a hinge sensor, the mascot feels the lid: squeezed nearly shut, laid right back, bolt upright, fiddled with, and what that might mean with the app you're in.

  • New

The camera and the battery. When a camera comes on (Flexor never opens one), the battery's cycles and health, the charger, the heat and Low Power Mode.

  • New

Displays, nights and updates. A monitor, a TV or a projector plugged in, how the Mac's night went, and a macOS update that's waiting, said plainly, with where to find it.

Little things

  • Fixed

Tidier friends. Someone seen a moment ago is "just now", one friend is "1 friend", visits in "lately" wear your friend's outfit, and time at the computer fits on their tiles.

1.0.9

A little louder, a lot closer.

Flexor makes a few soft sounds now, you can see which friends are at their Mac, and your mascot has new ways to turn up on their screen.

Sound

  • New

Little sounds. The wheel ticks as it turns and rings for what it lands on, a dart thuds into the board, a friend's visitor pops in, a hello whooshes off, the morning's points jingle. Only while you're watching: never with Flexor in the background, the mascot shushed, on a call or in your quiet hours.

  • New

A switch for all of it. Sounds in Settings turns every sound Flexor makes off, the chime included.

Friends

  • New

Who's at their Mac. A green dot when a friend is at the computer right now, a yellow one when they've stepped away. They choose whether to show it, with the eye on their card.

  • New

Ways in. Five new moves on the wheel for how your mascot comes onto a friend's screen: dropping from the top, popping up, skidding, rolling or flying in like a cannonball. Once you have some, a visit comes in one of them now and then, or with the usual hop.

Little things

  • Fixed

The gift badge, whole. In your collection, the little gift on something a friend gave you no longer gets cut off at the edge.

1.0.8

Sending, tidied up.

Little fixes to the friends page, from what you pick to where it pops up.

Friends

  • Better

Their screen, bigger. Picking where your mascot pops up, their screen fills the space, and the send button sits right under it. Nothing to scroll.

  • Fixed

Pick buttons in their place. On a line, the pick button sits in the middle and keeps clear of the words. On a gift, it no longer covers what you picked.

  • Better

A dot only for something new. The stats tab shows a dot when a friend has numbers you haven't seen today, and it's gone once you look.

Little things

  • Better

A calmer dashboard. No more dot blinking by “right now”.

1.0.7

Friends, a lot closer.

Show your friends a little of your day, see what they find, and send things the moment you pick them. Your points now live on Flexor's server, so they're only ever what you earned.

Friends

  • New

Your day, for your friends. The eye in your card's corner picks what they see: today's keys, time at the computer, your streak, the week, your fastest minute, the app you're in most and how much of the collection you've found. All on to start with, and each one turns off on its own. Numbers only, never what you type.

  • New

A stats tab. Next to “send”, a friend's day as they show it, with yours beside it.

  • New

Their finds, as they happen. When a friend who shows their collection lands something epic or legendary, it turns up in “lately” right away.

  • Better

Always dressed right. A friend's new look, name or hours reach your friends page the moment they change, with nothing to refresh.

  • Better

Pick, then send. The steps sit above your choices, and a “pick” button on whatever you've chosen takes you on. Quiet hours and what your friends see are buttons in your card's corner now.

  • Better

What's gone between you. Under when they're about: what you've sent them and what they've sent you. How long you've been friends sits by their name.

Points and Plus

  • New

Points you earned, and only those. Your points, finds, spins and darts are kept on Flexor's server now, worked out from how many keys and clicks each hour had, never which ones. Hours no person could type are left out. What you had before comes along once, up to 3,000 points and 60 finds.

  • New

Plus codes. Got a code? Type it into the Plus sheet and Plus opens up.

Your mascot

  • New

An ear for the sound. It notices when you turn the volume up or down or switch to headphones, and it keeps quiet while you're on a call. Only the level and the device, never what's playing.

  • New

Shortcuts, now and then. Six hundred quick tips for the apps you use, from ⇧⌘T to ⌥⌫.

  • New

A word about your friends. It has things to say about what comes and goes between you, without going on about it.

Little things

  • New

A new typeface. IBM Plex Sans, all the way through.

  • New

Updates you won't miss. When there's a new version, a note sits over the settings gear until it's in.

  • Better

Flatter cards. No more dark smudges behind things.

Under the hood

  • Better

Locked tight. Flexor runs with the hardened runtime, so nothing can slip into it and borrow its access to your keyboard. The server is stricter too: limits on everything, gifts that can't be copied, and nothing sent to anyone who isn't your friend.

1.0.6

This page, one click away.

The first update that installs itself from start to finish.

Little things

  • New

What's new, from settings. Under “about”, next to your version, a button opens this page.

1.0.5

Install and relaunch, for real.

Updates now finish the way they should.

Updates

  • Fixed

No more waiting window. Flexor doesn't quit when you press ⌘Q, so it keeps counting, and that also kept it from stepping aside for an update. Now it does: “install and relaunch” puts the new version in place and opens it again.

1.0.4

Which one do I have?

A small one: Flexor now tells you its version, right where you'd look for it.

Little things

  • New

The version, in plain sight. At the bottom of settings, with a button to check for a newer one, and quietly next to “check for updates…” in the menu bar.

1.0.3

Friends, rearranged.

The friends page got a new shape, and now you can tell when your hello has actually been seen.

Friends

  • New

Seen, at a glance. In “lately”, the little arrow next to everything you send tells you where it is: dashed while it's on its way, a ring once it's arrived, filled in when your friend has seen it.

  • Better

A calmer layout. Your friends now sit right under your profile, the composer has the middle to itself, and “lately” moved to the right, where it's easy to scan.

  • Better

Pages instead of scrolling. Long lists turn a page at a time with ‹ and ›. Same list, a lot less work for your Mac.

Little things

  • Better

Lowercase all the way. Flexor is “flexor” in the Finder and the Dock now, and the download is flexor.zip. No capitals anywhere, which is how it likes it.

  • New

This page. So you can see what changed without having to go looking.

1.0.2

It keeps itself up to date.

The first version you could get from this website, and the last one you'll ever have to download by hand. It also brought Flexor Plus, faster friends and a wheel with a little more drama.

Updates

  • New

Updates that wait for you. Flexor looks for a new version once a week, quietly. When there's one, a small “update” button shows up by the settings gear. Nothing pops up over your work.

  • New

Check whenever you like. From the menu bar, any time. Every update is signed, so only real ones get in.

Flexor Plus

  • New

Plus. Your whole history, every character, the epic and legendary finds, unlimited friends and gifts, and the features that are easy on your eyes. Every download starts with 14 days of all of it, no card needed.

  • New

Free stays free. After the trial you keep counting, reminders, your mascot, today's dashboard, two friends and hellos. Nothing you found or recorded goes anywhere.

Friends

  • New

Instant. What you send arrives the moment you send it, instead of whenever the next check comes around.

  • New

Gifts and notes. Give a friend something you found on the wheel, or tuck a few words into your hello. You can also pick where on their screen your mascot pops up.

  • Better

Visitors that wait. If your friend is away from the keys, your mascot waits and shows up when they're back. If the wait was a long one, it mentions it.

  • Better

Their hours, on their page. A friend's quiet hours show as a small ring under their mascot. Hover it to see when your hellos get delivered. Quiet hours are off unless you set some.

  • Fixed

No more missing hellos. Several in a row could get lost on a busy day. Now every one of them gets there.

  • Fixed

Tidier bubbles. A long gift message stays inside its bubble, and a visitor in the middle of an edge talks from right above its head.

The wheel

  • New

The way to a sure epic. A meter fills with every spin, and every tenth one lands on epic or better, on a golden wheel of its own.

  • Better

Rarer, so it means something. Epics and legendaries come up less often. And if you get lucky along the way, your progress toward the sure one stays where it is.

  • Better

A tidier market. Items and darts switch on the left, your points sit on the right.

Your mascot

  • New

It notices your apps. It has a word for nearly a thousand of them, from your code editor to your fourth video call of the day.

  • Better

More about you. About half of what it says is about you and your day, and it never says the same thing twice in a row.

Under the hood

  • Fixed

Opens right away. On some Macs Flexor could take a while to answer when it first opened. It starts at once now, and only one copy ever runs.

  • Fixed

Reminders keep their place. One waiting its turn could get lost if you paused at just the wrong moment. Not any more.

  • Better

Smoother and lighter. Visitors move smoothly again, switching steps when you send something costs nothing, and time & trends fills the whole window.

  • Better

A stricter server. Friends has tighter limits and double-checks every gift that's sent back, so nobody can play tricks with it.

1.0

Hello, Flexor.

Where it all started: a small friend in the menu bar that counts your keys and looks out for you.

Counting

  • New

Counts, not content. Every key and click, by the hour. Never the text, never what you wrote.

  • New

A dashboard. Your day, a heatmap of your keyboard, and time & trends, with yesterday and the whole year a click away.

Looking after you

  • New

It knows when you're tired. Tiredness builds from the last few hours of work and fades while you rest.

  • New

Breaks that happen. Gentle reminders for breaks, bedtime and your eyes. Capped, so they never nag.

  • New

Easy on your eyes. The screen dims as the evening goes on, too slowly to notice, and sudden bright pages can be softened if you ask.

A little friend

  • New

Thumbo and friends. Moods, dozens of moves, grand entrances, and hundreds of things to say. It picks up your habits, and if you shush it, it sulks by the lamp for a bit.

  • New

Things to find. Points from typing and from real breaks, a wheel full of characters, moves, outfits and lines, and three darts a day.

  • New

Friends. Add each other with a code and send your mascot over to say hi on their screen.

More is on the way.
